Diploma in International Business Studies
Course Introduction
This multidisciplinary programme offers a comprehensive range of business subjects to an advanced level. It will give students a thorough understanding of business and marketing principles, both nationally and internationally. The programme stresses the integration of business within the international environment.

Schedule: 2 evenings per week 6.15-9.30pm
Duration: Offered twice yearly, October & February, 1 year part-time
Course Aims & Objectives
The programme helps to develop a range of transferable skills in areas such as critical thinking, research, communications and problem solving. Students will have the opportunity to gain specialist experience in management and accounting, international business environment and international trade and finance.

Assessment
To be awarded the Diploma in International Business Studies, students will have to complete written exams, which will be held twice yearly in December & June at the end of each semester.
Career Opportunities
On completion of this programme, students will have the knowledge and skills required to work in a variety of positions on a domestic or international level, such as business administration, research executive, communications or finance positions. The programme is also suitable for managers who require a recognised business studies qualification for career advancement and promotion purposes. It is particularly suited for students who wish to join multinational corporations and organisations involved in exporting.
