Course Introduction (Advanced Diploma)
Increasing competition between national and international companies calls for a greater degree of ability and professionalism on the part of all managers. This advanced level management programme is regularly selected by employers seeking a suitable course of study for their middle and line managers. The structure of the programme ensures the participants are able to develop both academic knowledge and practical management skills.

Schedule:
- 1 evening per week 6.15-9.30pm - Advanced Diploma in Business Studies
- 2 evenings per week 6.15-9.30pm - Graduate Diploma in Management Studies
Duration: Offered twice yearly, October & February
- October 1 year part-time
- February 14 weeks/17 weeks intensive from February to June (+ some Saturday Mornings)
Course Introduction (Graduate Diploma)
This programme is designed to provide the aspiring or newly appointed manager with a practical grounding in the skills of management. It is particularly suited to the section leader, the self-employed, those interested in enhancing personal performance and in developing their careers in the management field.
Course Aims & Objectives
This programme is designed to provide senior supervisors, managers and advanced level business students with a post-graduate/post experience level management qualification for career development purposes. It is also suitable for holders of degrees in non-business and management disciplines who require a high-level management qualification.

Assessment
Examinations are conducted at the end of the academic year in June and are externally set and marked by the Institute of Commercial Management.
Career Opportunities
On completion of this programme, students will have the knowledge and skills required to work in a variety of business and management roles. Additionally students may obtain exemptions onto other related degree/postgraduate courses.
